Introduction
The predecessor of Jiangsu Heavy-duty Fire Retardant Coating Engineering Technology Research Center is Jiangsu Lanling Institute of Corrosion Protection Technology, which was founded in 1991, playing a decisive role in the development process of Jiangsu Lanling Chemical Group. It has developed a series of new products and technologies for the development of the company, and at the same time, boosted the technical innovation and research and development of the domestic coating industry.?In 2010, Jiangsu Science and Technology Department authorized Jiangsu Lanling Institute of Corrosion Protection Technology to be the basis to set up Jiangsu Heavy-duty Fire Retardant Coating Engineering Technology Research Center.?
Since its establishment, as a platform for independent R & D and innovation, assimilation and re-innovation, experiment and engineering, testing and application, cultivating core talents and opening up operations and pooling talents, the center contributes to the development methods of speeding up product restructuring and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.
The center is based around steel, petroleum, petrochemical, equipment manufacturing, municipal construction and other industries, carries out the application and engineering of new materials, new technologies, new processes and new achievements of steel structure heavy-duty anti-corrosion and fire retardant coating products, speeds up the promotion of heavy-duty anti-corrosion and fire retardant coating to a functional trend, so as to enhance the level of development of the steel structure heavy-duty anti-corrosion and fire retardant coating industry and its industrial chain.
After several years of development, the center has established a sound R & D mechanism for coating products and formed seven research laboratories and two testing centers for color steel coatings, powder coatings, architectural coatings, fireproof coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, water-based coatings and marine coatings. Its first-class laboratory equipment can fully meets the technological innovation and research and development ?of various types of coating products.
